Get back to Work!

Welcome back to school!

Awww, all you poor little things. Spring break is over, and now you have to go back to your little classes. Your little backpack is probably digging into your little sunburned shoulders. I feel so sorry for all of you that have to suffer through school - a whole week of it - before finals, and then summer break.

I spent my break...nowhere, doing...nothing. Just showing up at work as usual. Welcome to life after Camp SOY! Love it while you can.

Well Josh, not everyone goes to Miami for Pesach, and some who go actually happen to wear shirts...even Jonah I hear.
And Josh, shouldn't you be saving info like the last paragraph for your own blog?

Why can't reading week actually start at the beginning of the week?

And I finally realized why it's not called study or review week; such labels aren't used when you're seeing all or most of the material for the first time, making "reading" a much more apt term for the occasion.

So many comments, without even a peep from me. Then again, it was my post.

Will Work for Food- Anything goes on this blog, as long as I can find some way to tie it back to the college life. Like I could post about my obsession with Blue Jay bird sightings, as long as I related it to YU, say by mentioning its popularity as a dinner treat up at Broadway and 190th.

The Elder - I did a lot of work, as probably most of you did, until I joined Camp SOY.

Zaken- Definitely acting your age. Us campers could use more counselors like yourself. But of course, than I must wonder why you are writing books contrary to your advice. And did we sell them at the Sale?

And Finally - My advice for reading week - Cramming is a bad study habit. If you haven't learned it by now, you probably won't gain anything by starting now. Go out for some ice cream instead.

Sorry Ettie. I hate to be the bearer of bad news - especially to you ;) - but Ben and Jerry's had their giveaway on April 19th. Baskin-Robbins had a free scoop through Yahoo on March 2nd. No word on whether they're still planning a later free day, but it looks unlikely - they usually do it the same week as Ben and Jerry's.

But I want to keep you happy. I'll pay for your scoop. And even a second one for the guy of your choice. That's how we do things in Chicago :)
